Today is my first day to go to work. I haven't held a "real" job since 1999, so this should be interesting. I am allowed to smoke on the job, but of course I am trying to quit, so this could be a bit challenging. I hope I am not a complete retard and can actually comprehend how to run all of the cash registers and such. I know it may sound kind of stupid, but I am kinda scared. I am starting out at minimum wage, which I think is like a little over $6 an hour. Halie makes more than I do, and she understands how to do her job - which is probably more complicated than mine will be. I feel a little dumb. I guess at least it is something, which is totally better than nothing right? I have to go shave my legs now....Friday, October 3, 2008
OFF TO THE RAT RACE....
