Good god. It's hotter than I can ever remember it being in forever. Even hotter than the summer the Canadians came to town and had to seek shelter at the mall! The grass is brown and on the verge of total evaporation. I just pulled the towels off the line and they feel hotter than when I pull them straight from the dryer. Hot. Hot. Hot. And of course that's the forecast for the whole next week. No rain. Not a thing but more heat. I don't know how much longer I can take it. The pool is now a hot tub. The steel building out back could actually be used as an oven. If there were chiKeNs in it - they would be ready to eat - and boiled eggs to boot!!! GAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!
